Which Adventure?

Post by Druchii »

Hi all

I'm going to be picking some new modules and had a few questions before ordering my books.

I'm looking for dungeon crawls (am I in the right spot?) :)

But I'm looking for adventures that are 3rd level and higher and need ones with mostly dungeon walls as I'm doing a hirst art dungoen.
4th level is good also as I will have 5 players in the party.
Really just tell me your favorite Dungeon crawl classic.

I'm loking at these books right now,
-The Adventure Continues: A Compilation of Adventures for Character Levels 4-6
-The Book of Treasure Maps: A Compilation of Adventures for Character Levels 3-16
-Vault of the Dragon Kings
-The Slithering Overlord

Books I own already,
-The Ruins of Castle Churo
-Temple of the Dragon Cult
-The Blackguard's Revenge
-Crypt of the Devil Lich

The guys here will give you lots of good recommendations, and if you search some of the old threads you may even find some older posts along the same lines. In the meantime, I'll point out two "objective" sources of information, in case you haven't seen them already:

* Our Adventure Finder, which lists every module by level:
http://www.goodman-games.com/adventurefinder.php

* A list of award-nominated modules (and other products):
http://www.goodman-games.com/goodmangames.php

Hope that helps!

The Mysterious Tower is

- fun to run
- of the right level

...and should be easy to build with Hirst Art!

-The Adventure Continues: A Compilation of Adventures for Character Levels 4-6
-The Book of Treasure Maps: A Compilation of Adventures for Character Levels 3-16
-The Slithering Overlord

Chapters has The Mysterious Tower and it's in my cart till I do a book order in 2 weeks from them.

Thanks for the help!!!

Sorry I'm late to the thread. I haven't read "The Adventure Continues" yet, so I can't make informed commits about it.

However, "The Slithering Overlord" will fit your needs well. It is a completely underground adventure. I think you'll enjoy the possibilities of the treasure map module as well.

Here are a few other's of the levels and "ones with mostly dungeon walls" as you asked about:

DCC #35B: The Thief Lord's Vault
DCC#7: The Secret of Smuggler's Cove
DCC #26: The Scaly God
and DCC #27: Revenge of the Rat King

I'm sure there are others, but these came to mind first & I'd recommend them.
