Gencon Tourney 07

I'm really glad you decided for the tournament this year to go with the four 0-Level halfling bakers, locked in a farmhouse with a rabid house cat. It was even bolder to make rounds two and three the second floor of the farmhouse and the cellar. No one will be expecting the finale to be 1d3 giant rats! They will be talking about the animated peach preserves for years!

See you all in August! Mwahahahahahahahahaha....

My personal favorite encounter is the animated gravy bowl with the burning gravy...1d2 fire damage from superheated, whisked milk, flour, and butter!
Take that, heroes!

When the quiet halfling village of Amrillon is beset by dough-boy golems, they know that something must have happened with old Taberothen, the local baker and amateur hedge wizard. It's up to the halfling apprentice bakers to discover...

Ok. So I am a bit of a daze now. I just looked at the event catalog for RPGs to see where all the games are located because of the ticket print screw up and the scatter effect in placement. I am a little worried now.

Just looking at the tourney 1st round the games are in 3 different locations. Union Station, Hyatt and the convention center. What I am worried about is that my group doesn't all have the same event number. we all have the same time and in the past it was ok to use same time tickets to group up. The problem this year is that with the games spread out from each other how are groups going to be made? Is it going to be the official ticket for the spot, or are we going to be able group up with friends with same time tickets? If the latter is an option will time be given to run to an open table if it is in say Union Station and the group is in the ICC?

Does any of that make sense?

Actually, toad, it makes perfect sense.

We are aware of the printing problem Gen Con had with the event tickets, and we're aware that we've been scattered hither and yon, and we've already taken steps to correct it.
We are coordinating with Gen Con, and will have some definite answers by this time tomorrow.
The move is to centralize the DCC and XCrawl tournaments, putting them in several rooms in ONE location (probably the Union instead of ICC, Omni, Hyatt, AND Union).

One-stop tournament shopping!

Excellent. One more reason I love this tourney, and for that matter DCC games.

Yep - big thanks to Adrian for working so hard to fix the problems posed by the original room assignments and the printing errors GenCon made regarding both the Xcrawl and DCC tournaments.

I cannot stress this following point enough -- if you have ANY questions about the tournaments, your time slot or your room assignment, please stop by the Goodman Games booth (#2615).

Any specific DCC tournament questions should be addressed to Adrian. Any specific Xcrawl tournament questions should be addressed to me.
Crypt of the Devil Lich, Dungeon Interludes, The Mask of Death, Adventure Begins, Vault of the Dragon Kings, the Power Gamers Wizard Strategy Guide, The Adventure Continues, Palace in the Wastes and PhoenixCrawl Open

O-level; wow! Where do we find the guard and apprentice classes? I find all the others in the DMG.

THANK YOU!

Really this is a blessing for us as players, and I am sure for you as well so that you can stay in one place and not run every where.
