GenCon - Fathead's Wednesday Dungeon Crawl - one more

Post by fathead »

I've decided to start posting all of the details in one place. PCs and storyline will be forthcoming!

Time: Wednesday 1pm-5pm
Where: The RAM
Event:

D&D 3.5

The Undercity of Arkeene

You have chased the master thief, Esclavien through enemy lands, across the Stonelands, through the fens of the Gren March, and across the Sundered Sea. You had hoped to overtake him before reaching Arkeene, but the storms at sea dashed any chance of that. Now your only choice is to brave the Undercity of Arkeene, and reach the Pale Gate first.

A dungeon crawl for 10th level characters. 6 players. Pregens provided.

I recently had someone cancel, so I have one more player slot still available, if anyone is interested!

Somehow I missed this map before. Very nice! Did you draw that?

Yes and no. :) I drew the map on a sheet of paper. I scanned that in, and placed it on a weathered map image which I found on WOTC's site. The little imp on the left hand corner was something I found on another gaming website. I used Photoshop to lay everything out and add text.

The finished map looks even better. I printed it all out on brown paper at Kinkos. Then, I bought some wax pellets, which I melted onto the paper using tin foil and an iron. Lastly, I burned the edges of the map.

It made for a great campaign prop.
