And I think it will be a fun one. I've seen a pre-release copy of the module and it's outstanding. The puzzle wheel will be a fantastic prop for the adventure.

Pledged last night while JediWife was at my side. It's my wedding anniversary gift from her.

Friend, you have no idea. How or why any woman would put up with a clod like me for seventeen years, as of May 24th, is beyond my ability to grasp.finarvyn wrote:Clearly, JediWife is a "keeper"!
Back on target: We've kicked in enough money to purchase three modules beyond the $30 pledge. Now I've got to decide which three! Does any have a suggestion? I own, of the DCC-RPG modules, (or have at the comic store with my name on it as soon as I have the money) DCC#66.5 through 73. How many modules does it take, on average, for PCs to level? Should I focus on the level one and two modules?

Can the shipping on this Kickstarter be combined with the Metamorphis Alpha Kickstarter? I'm willing to wait and have everything ship at once to reduce my shipping costs.

That is a very attractive idea -- let's hope someone answers in the affirmative!JediOre wrote:Can the shipping on this Kickstarter be combined with the Metamorphis Alpha Kickstarter? I'm willing to wait and have everything ship at once to reduce my shipping costs.
I have evidence that there must be two women of such high caliber. "Officially" 19 years and counting... more like 21 if you're not picky about start dates.JediOre wrote:...How or why any woman would put up with a clod like me...
Congrats!

Re: The Chained Coffin kickstarter
I pledged on the tier with special cover and signature but I think I will also order a normal cover since it will look strange next to the other modules.
Glad it already funded. Hopefully it will break a bunch of stretch goals.

Re: The Chained Coffin kickstarter
This is still to be determined. Basically, it depends on how well the Kickstarter does.catseye yellow wrote:guys, just to clarify this: will only sliver foil cover include bonus material (gazeteer, new patron, random encounters...)?

Over 500% funded... that's over $20,000. Which stretch goal has Gregorian Monks hand illuminate each printed copy of the book?

I just received a check for a little bit of writing that I did, so did I spend it on hookers and blow like normal? No way, Jose! I just became a backer of The Chained Coffin!

I am glad you became a kickstarter. I am really excited about the campaign setting! That is what sold me on the idea of supporting the kickstarter.JonHook wrote:I just received a check for a little bit of writing that I did, so did I spend it on hookers and blow like normal? As for hookers, if you mess around with them than you will get your own real life coffin.

Re: The Chained Coffin kickstarter
I'm a complete newb to Kickstarter. I pledge $30 for the silver edition and get a box set with all the stuff in it? As long as enough people pledge the third adventure and map come with it without more money for my pledge?
Kickstarter just sounds too good to be true sometime as in "you too can be rich selling Amway".
I'm in though if it's that simple and may pick up a couple of other modules to boot.

Re: The Chained Coffin kickstarter
It is that simple. As of this moment the map hasn't been funded yet but all the other items have been. So your money will be getting you four adventures, Shudder Mountain gazetteer w/ sections on monsters & magic, the spinning wheel, and the box (going from memory so I might be missing something).
The only thing I'm not really sure about is the shipping cost: does it come from the pledge amount or is it an additional amount added after?

Re: The Chained Coffin kickstarter
I got in. This thing just looks cool. Plus I live at the southern tip of the Appalachian mountains. So reading that as an influence was enough to make me want to try Kickstarter (and DCC standard quality).
The area I live in was known as "Wolf Scratch Wilderness". How cool of a local real life name is that to include in a fantasy RPG?
Looking forward to final product
