The Dice, Band, and Pin Arrived Today

Post by JediOre »

I am very excited to report JediOre is the proud owner of six custom MA 6-sided dice, a metal band, and a pin!

This metal band intrigues me. It is green with an evergreen outline. What does the green stand for? Am I some sort of park ranger in the ship? And me with my allergies and asthma. Camping for me is only with a camper that has an A/C unit. If I am a park ranger I do hope the starship has a good medical leave plan!

This is so cool!

Green bands are horticultural. You have clearance to access the forest and farmland levels and, more importantly, command the various ecology robots. The ones with vibro saws, capture nets, tranquilizer darts, and other implements of destruction. Not a bad deal, if you ask me!

Horticultural, eh? Ecology robots, you say? Interesting.

I don't know much about Metamorphosis Alpha, never got to play that game. We played Gamma World (original) back in the 80s and I loved the module which name eludes me. Something about the Golden Legion. I've DMed S3 Expedition to the Barrier Peaks on three occasions, but that is as close to SciFi RPGing as I've had.

I'm looking forward to reading this game. :)

Were we suppose to get an invoice for shipping charges? Or will that come later? Nothing here yet in Pennsylvania

Horticulture for me too! I see the new MA modules and sourcebooks are listed on the GG website now...awesome. One question I had...didn't the stretch goals include expanding the "monsters and devices" book to 32 pages? The website lists a "Creatures and Gadgets" sourcebook with 16 pages. Does anyone know if this is the same thing? And if so, why not 32 pages? Perhaps the extra pages are for kickstarter backers only?

Brown colored band? What might that mean?

We know green is horticulture, white is medical, and red is security, but what is brown?

According to the 1e MA rulebook, brown is the general purpose band issued to all civilians.

Im wondering too. Are all those adventures available now? Im assuming the Armory, Creature, & Mutations books are the ones included with the Kickstarter book.
Id like to buy those adventures. :D But I don't want to buy what I'll already be getting with my Kickstarter hardcover.

Can't say there's anything wrong with being a "Joe".

But even the captain (and I'm not referring to these new movies!) had to start as an ensign. Brown today, gold tomorrow! :D
