Revelation of Mulmo PbP?
If I ran a play-by-post for 4th level characters, using The Revelation of Mulmo, on Unseen Servant, would there be any interest?

Re: Revelation of Mulmo PbP?
I'd have interest -- but already being in two PbP games is probably a sensible limit.

I just started over at Unseen Servant and would be up for this. Same name (Stouthart) over there.

If I can get 4-6 people who want to play, I'll do it. If you want, as the first responder, you can have a second character. Unfortunately, the second character starts play deceased. (RoM includes as its primary hook the quest to restore a dead comrade to life).

If you get a deal, you can always pick it up but not download/read it yet. Hopefully, the pbp will give you some ideas as to presentation when you do run it!Rick wrote:I'd be interested. It's in my cart @ RPGNow; guess I'll can hold off on it a while longer.

Re: Revelation of Mulmo PbP?
I'm interested but 1) I've never done a pbp, and 2) no idea what Unseen Servant is. A message board?
(Googling this now. And yup, I was right. Hmm.)
(And registering now --> as Ogrepuppy!)
Cards on the table: I bought the PDF. however, I haven't had a chance to read it, and I give you my assurance that I won't until the PbP is over. (Besides, you'll be able to tell pretty quick if I'm "cheating".)
Daniel, feel free to PM me with details of chargen, etc if you'd like.

I'd play, but why not run it here? Nothing against unseen servant, but having these here seems useful.

It'd be an honor to PbP with you, sir.GnomeBoy wrote:Is no one going to talk this man out of it?!
And why are you referring to yourself in the third person?

RC, if I'm counting right, I'd be fifth in line. If you can tolerate three PbP's with me in.

Re: Revelation of Mulmo PbP?
Okay, make your 4th level characters. Someone must also decide on a name and class for the dead person. You can stat the dead person up if you succeed in restoring him/her to life.

Let's lobby Joseph to create a subforum for pbp?
room for me? Any special rules for creating 4th level? I haven't bought the module yet.

Are we still going to use Unseen Servant for rolling up the characters and as a dice roller?

Oh -- are we going to try to balance the party? I was just picturing a free-for-all and we'd have four wizards, or something...Rick wrote:Cool. Pencil me in for a Thief, then, depending on what everyone else had in mind.Raven_Crowking wrote:Sure. Why not?
EDIT: I think I'm going to start at Zero and work the character up "as if" they experienced the XP. So I don't know what I'll play...

I don't care how you go about creating the fourth level characters.
I will probably hand out 1d3 "special treasures" to each when they are done.

Let's determine once and for all where you'd like to do this PbP: here, or at Unseen Servant?
I can see this quickly getting out of control if we're not all on the same page. Well, except for Gnomie. He's always quickly getting out of control--it's all that coffee.
