This was our first play experience with DCCRPG, the previous session was character generation (There is a session report of that at RPG Geek too if you scroll down a bit).
Needless to say I (we) loved it. Tomorrow night we tackle "Doom of the Savage Kings" with our 1st level characters. I haven't had this much enthusiasm since first playing D&D back in 79. As then I have made my own DM screen and extended this by creating individual handbooks for each of my character classes and spellbooks for my Elf and Wizard. My excuse is that I have the limited edition rules which I want to keep in pristine condition
I was almost scared off by the funky dice thing but so glad we gave this a go - Thanks Goodman Games!
