Goodman Games

Hi everyone!

I was looking to get back into role-playing after a several year hiatus only days after DCC was released, so I've owned the book now for several months (I've even tried designing some adventures) but have not yet had the opportunity to play! Bought it originally to introduce a buddy of mine to RPing but haven't had a chance to get that off the ground.

I'm looking for folks in the San Francisco Bay area who would be interested in playing. I'd like to try GMing but I'm fine as a player too. Let's just get some good people together and have a raucous time beating things to a pulp with pen & paper!

Glad to hear you're looking to start a DCC RPG campaign! I would recommend you attend some of the local cons to meet other gamers with similar tastes. The bay area has three strong ones, with DunDraCon, Kublacon, and Pacificon -- plus a number of smaller ones (like Big Bad Con which is coming up in October). And Pacificon is right around the corner -- only two weeks away! (See http://www.pacificongameexpo.com ) I'll be running some games there and you may be able to meet other DCC RPG gamers at those sessions. At least one of the DCC RPG 3PP will also be in attendance. Also check the local stores - I know that both Black Diamond Games and Game Kastle have been selling DCC RPG well. Hope that helps.

Great to see some more Crawlers in the Bay Area. I will be running pickup games at Big Bad Con this weekend, hope to see you there!
