This week I post about Tales from the Sunken City (a.k.a. tales from my online G+/Roll20 game that started with The Perils of the Sunken City and The Ooze Pits of Jonas Gralk from Purple Sorcerer Games):

The Iron Tavern posts some traps for DCC RPG:

Traps for DCC RPG

These traps are designed for use with the previously posted Critical Hits Trap Table. A revised version of this trap table will be posted in the near future with a few clean-up items and better directions on using the table during a game.

I make an attempt at creating a Dwarven Cleric class for Dungeon Crawl Classics. I tried to find just the right blend between a dwarven feel and some cleric ability. Feedback is welcomed on whether I hit the right blend!

I really liked this. Brings back memories of Pages from Mages.
To defend: This is the Pact.
But when life loses its value,
and is taken for naught -
then the Pact is to Avenge.

This week I post a patron write-up for Malloc, a patron referenced in Perils of the Sunken City from Purple Sorcerer Games. This is a complete patron write-up with Invoke Patron results, Patron Taint results, a handful of spellburn ideas, and three new patron spells.

This week The Iron Tavern has the Thaggnaerian Snare Beast for your game. This is a guest post written by a player in my weekly game. He used this set of creatures for a recent one-shot he did. Enjoy!

I know! It screams for a cool pic, but my artistry skills are sub-par when it comes to critter pics!

The Iron Tavern posts the Crystal Aberration for the DCC RPG. While their origins are unclear, these crystalline aberrations are perfect for subterranean environs.

The Iron Tavern is still hopping, but it has been awhile since I have made an RPG specific post. Today I post about using a cut-scene funnel to restock the stable of characters in your DCC RPG campaign:

The Cut-Scene Funnel

And while not DCC RPG specific, I have been posting several maps that can be stolen for your game when you need a quick map:

Maps at The Iron Tavern

And also of interest, a random table series:

Thank you for your kind review!

If not too much to ask, could you please cross-post this to RPG Now?

While this post is not entirely DCC RPG related, it is a map of a village one could easily drop into their DCC RPG campaign.

One of the new Iron Tavern bloggers posted about the shared experience of modules from the old days, something a little harder to reach with the number of system choices today. He does review Stonesky Delve from Expeditious Retreat, an adventure he ran for his DCC RPG group.

The Iron Tavern talks about all of the tables in Dungeon Crawl Classics and why that really isn't a bad thing. In fact, it might just be the key to bringing the magic to the game.
