4x6 Flash Card- Microsoft Word Character Sheets

Post by Ryanglee1987 »

Howdy Folks,

So i got bored the other night and made these for myself and everybody. I made them in Word 2007 so you may need to download word viewer to see it formatted correctly if you don't have word. These print off nicely on 4x6 flash cards. Hope this helps people with their DCC games! Feel free to email me back with anything to help improve them. Thanks!

A great concept. I used to use 3x5 cards as character sheets in my early OD&D days and even made a faux 3x5 card style character card when I created the S&W WB rules.

Brings back some great memories and I like the way you've applied it to DCC. :D

Ah. I was looking at the previews and just realized that they were done in word 2007 as you said. I'll have to download them for real at work, as I only have 2003 at home.

My only comment is that it would be cool to have similar artwork for each thumbnail picture. A mix of line art and color art doesn't "unify" the set quite so much.

I was thinking that as well! Those pics were the only thing i had on my computer at the time. I was thinking that people, if they have 2007 or can convert them, can just add their own characters portrait to them.

And they aren't bad ones. Based on the fact that most of the DCC RPG is done in B&W line art, I'd be tempted to look for some old school artwork similar or grab some art from the rulebook. (I know there are "preview art" threads; one could grab character pictures from there.)

As I said, great job overall! :D
