What does the die/dice do for the specific condition do?
On page 30 it says:
The Broken limbs:1 die.
Organ damage: 2 dice.
etc.
What do those dice do?
Cleric specific condition die

This just came up recently. See this thread: http://www.goodman-games.com/forums/vie ... 72&t=44760
Re: Cleric specific condition die
So, to heal a broken limb, the cleric must be able to generate 1 die worth of healing. He must be 1st level or higher.
To heal organ damage or cure disease, he must be 2nd level or higher.
Poison or paralysis 3rd level level or higher.
Right?

The Cleric's level doesn't restrict Lay On Hands.marshal kt wrote:So, to heal a broken limb, the cleric must be able to generate 1 die worth of healing. He must be 1st level or higher.

If the Cleric is healing hp, the target can't heal more dice than their own level, e.g., a third level Warrior can't heal 4 dice, if that's what the Cleric's roll generated. In that example, the Cleric would have healed 3d12 hp for the target, even if they generated 4 dice of effect.
That level/hit dice restriction is lifted for Lay On Hands use to cure a condition.

Re: Cleric specific condition die
your confusing dice and level. Cleric lays on hands. They get a result based on roll and alignment. That number of dice can be used for straight up HP healing. 1 die equals on class HD, 2 dice equals 2 class HD (so a fighter would roll 1d12 or 2d12 respectively). With the caveat that you can not, regardless of result, ever roll more dice than equal to your level. SO a first level fighter even if the result of roll and alignment is 3 dice could only ever heal up 1d12 of HP damage.
OR the cleric could heal a condition instead of HP. Your fighter suffered a crit and his leg is broken. Minus 5 to move. Cleric lays on hands and gets a result of 1 die. A broken bone is a condition healed with a 1 die result. Fighters broken bone is healed, but gets no HP.

What I somehow missed was the table on page 31.
Thanks for all the help. I was overthinking the problem and literally missed the obvious.
