what is the dc for spell saves?
in case of a lvl 1 spell is it

a) save vs 12 (10+2*spell lvl)
or
b) save vs the actual roll of the wizard/cleric ?

Hah! Great question. That needs some clarifying in the rules.

When you see the save defined as "vs spell check" it means against the caster's roll (see Charm Person). But see Detect evil for the variant: "vs Spell check DC," meaning the save is against the DC of casting the spell.
