I like the spell duel mechanism. I have a question about the momentum tracker (MT). When a character has the lower spell check, do they move their MT down by 1? I understand the character with the higher spell check move their MT up by 1. The reason I'm asking is that the example on Page 88 , Round two states

The Emerald Sorcerer won his comparison to Athle, so his 9 is now incremented back to 10.

When did the MT for the The Emerald Sorcerer go down by 1? The example didn't say. The rules don't mention it either.

No they don't go down, there was an error in that example that was mostly corrected but the value of 9 was a carryover.
