Turn Unholy on page 22 indicates that it is "any being without a soul that the cleric's scriptures declare unholy." Page 81 doesn't expand on this. However, the table on page 24 includes monsters and even humanoids such as goblins, or cursed beings such as lycanthropes on this list. This could use clarification.

Also, the table refers to "evil or chaotic" and "good-aligned" humanoids. I'm cool with the looser more interpretive alignment system, but this seems to push it right back into Law==good and Chaos==evil interpretations.

I think the references to good and evil alignments are relics of an earlier iteration of the rules. Of course, I could be wrong.
