DCC Wiki Project

Following an ENnworld thread I've begun a DCC wiki over on the D&D Wiki pages. I ripped the text off of an older, non-nerfed version on wikipedia.

http://dnd.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeon_Crawl_Classics

Most DCCs don't qualify as "notable" under the wikipedia rules, and at the very least their entries get hassled by editors. So the D&D wiki seems the proper place to record the DCC legacy.

I don't know much about the history of the wiki, or its chances at longevity, so don't blame me if it vanishes tomorrow.

As fellow lovers of the DCC line, I hope you'll add to the content. It would be great for each DCC to have its own entry, recording variant covers and what not, but that's a ways off. :)

At the very least we can bang out the code to drop into another, longer lived 3.5 wiki later on.

I'd love to help toot the horn of the DCCs but I flat don't have the time.

It's a good idea. Perhaps we could round up the various authors and make them post some choice bits of wisdom on their creations?

I'd be glad to put up the "drive-in totals" for the ones I ran last campaign. I know nutink about computer codes though.

Well if you just want to post text here (plot summaries, key NPCs, whatever), I can copy them into the wiki.

The code isn't terribly complicated but it can be a little strange until you get used to it.

Started entries

http://dnd.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeon_Crawl ... Adventures

http://dnd.wikia.com/wiki/Saga_of_the_Dragon_Cult

http://dnd.wikia.com/wiki/Saga_of_the_Witch_Queen

Does anyone have a better title for than "nonsequential adventures" ? I don't know what to call them.

I'm hoping if I start 1 or 2 entries a day, we might have the DCCs lined out in time for 4E.

Nonconsecutive adventures?
