I am now signed up for both sessions on Friday. Yay! I can't wait for more death and destruction. :D

Doug may very well hold the dubious title of “most DCC RPG PCs lost during the course of convention play.”

Looks like I'm almost cleared for Genghis Con. ETA is about 7 weeks, right?

Here are the four events I'll be running at GenghisCon 2011

Event #1
Genre - RPG
Game Name – Original Dungeons & Dragons (OD&D)
Game Title - Staff of the Serpent Master
Judge name - Jon Hershberger

Game Description - Deep in the jungles of Tenga-Xi, where once thrived numerous cities of early man, there remain several remarkable pyramid-structures. The last evidence that these civilizations existed at all, these pyramid-tombs are believed to be the final resting places of the greatest of the sorcerer-kings that ruled there. The last of these pyramid-tombs have yet to be breached...until now!

Experience Level - intermediate
Time slots (Day & Time) – Friday 8:00 AM (four hour time slot)

Event #2
Genre - RPG
Game Name – Original Dungeons & Dragons (OD&D)
Game Title - Staff of the Serpent Master
Judge name - Jon Hershberger

Experience Level - intermediate
Time slots (Day & Time) – Friday 2:00 PM (four hour time slot)

Event #3
Genre - RPG
Game Name – Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (First Edition AD&D)
Game Title – Mud Sorcerer’s Tomb (Part I of II, carries over to afternoon; see below)
Judge name - Jon Hershberger

Game Description - The Jezulein cult was a cult of evil sorcerers and mysticists that specialized in combining elemental magics, particularly the elements of earth and water. Thus, they became known as “mud sorcerers” by their detractors. Regardless of the labels they acquired, in time they amassed great power and wealth, eventually earning the wrath of the other organized religions of the day. The cultists became the benefactors of a continent-wise ‘witch hunt’ that would drive them under ground. They created great tombs for themselves, hoping to wait out, and out live, the fury of the powers aligned against them and one day rise again from their dark tombs to take their place at the top of the world stage. But, their plans never came to pass. The cult was all but snuffed out, the leaders’ tombs lost to the ages, forgotten and dismissed as myth. Until recently…when the entrance to one such mud sorcerer’s tomb was uncovered. The PCs have been asked by the local sages guild to travel to the excavation site, to enter the recently discovered tomb and to claim whatever artifacts, wealth and knowledge that can be claimed from the Mud Sorcerer’s Tomb! (Part I)

Experience Level - intermediate
Time slots (Day & Time) – Saturday 8:00 AM (four hour time slot) (game carries over to afternoon event; see below)

Event #4
Genre - RPG
Game Name – Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (First Edition AD&D)
Game Title – Mud Sorcerer’s Tomb (Part II of II, carries over from morning; see below, above)
Judge name - Jon Hershberger
