Organized Play for DCCRPG????

Post by Black Dougal »

Have Joseph or Harley given any thought to a "Living Aereth" organized play society? WoTC has the RPGA and "Living Forgotten Realms" and Paizo has the Pathfinder Society. This seems to be a good way to introduce players to a new game and increase visibility at Cons.

Just a thought.

Doug may very well hold the dubious title of “most DCC RPG PCs lost during the course of convention play.”

Have thought about it but it's not in the cards for now. That said, there will be LOTS of module support for this game, so it will be relatively easy for players to enjoy a common "shared experience" as we'll all be able to play similar adventures.

...And what's your take on Joe Average (or even, um, me for example) running one of those modules as an official game at a convention, once the game and modules are available...?

I would definitely encourage folks to run the adventures at cons! And local game stores and meetup groups and anywhere else. Always good to spread the gaming love!
