Could someone explain the mechanic of how healing a broken bone or poison works differently than simply healing HP?

The Cleric makes a Lay on Hands (spellcasting) check as normal, stating they are trying to purge the subject of poison (or whatever other effect, as appropriate). If they generate enough dice on the usual Lay on Hands chart (3 for poison), then they have succeeded. So a Lawful Cleric trying to drive the poison out of the system of a Chaotic subject would need a spellcheck result of 22 or higher.

How's that?

Also: Excess does not heal other damage. Either the bone/poison is healed, or not. There is no other effect. If the roll is not high enough to heal the poison/bone, disapproval increases by 1.
