looking for some advices about Gods
I have run my first party DCC recently (using The Portal Under The Stars adventure) and I have built a small campaign setting. I just want to know how to do to insert some gods in my little barony. An agriculture or fertility god(ess) would match with my setting. However gods and temples organization seems to be quite different in DCC rules than in AD&D and I feel interrogative about that.
Could you tell me how you do, and perhaps where I'll can find some ressources to help me.
[sorry for my english level... is there people who know breton language or french here ?]

Re: looking for some advices about Gods
I'm not looking for ideas to create Gods (I have a lot of ideas already) but it seems difficult to me to generate the gods I have imaginated with the DCC rules. I can't really see the difference between the Patrons and the Gods. Is there some material to help me to integrate my gods in the DCC rules, I mean some tools, or guideline. For example, how to do with a Fertility / agriculture goddess ? I used to do with AD&D rules but with DCC ones, it's quite different...
Thanks.

Minimally, you just have to decide if the gods are Lawful, Chaotic, or Neutral. If the god is also going to be a patron, you should do a patron write up. You can also do special rules for clerics who follow a specific faith. For examples of gods worked up for DCC, see:
* Crawljammer #5: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2016/ ... mer-5.html
* Hubris: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2017/ ... nture.html
* Divinities & Cults Vol I: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2016/ ... cults.html
* Divinities & Cults Vol II: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2017/ ... me-ii.html
* Crawling Under a Broken Moon #11: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2016/ ... on-11.html
* Crawling Under a Broken Moon #12: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2016/ ... on-12.html
* The Crimson Void: https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2016/ ... -void.html
Hope this helps!

Re: looking for some advices about Gods
So it's me again !
I'm still working on my little campaign setting (The Old Gollewin Barony) and I just want to know how you have done with Dwarves and Elves gods ? Maybe I'll buy a PDF "Divinities and Cults" to have some guidelines but I'm not sure yet.
I have written some details about theses "non-human" gods, so I guess they will have a different treatment than the gods venerated by the humans.
All advices welcome !
Thanks

Re: looking for some advices about Gods
In a lot of Appendix N fiction, there is no difference, or non-humans have no gods, or they worship Elder Things.baophrat wrote:I'm still working on my little campaign setting (The Old Gollewin Barony) and I just want to know how you have done with Dwarves and Elves gods ? This is a patron book focused on elves and fey:
https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2018/ ... ume-2.html
This is an adventure I wrote which has a call out to every Appendix N source of elves I know.
https://dcctreasures.blogspot.com/2018/ ... acled.html
The Divinities & Cults books have a lot of useful material, but they are adapted from Labyrinth Lord, so there is some peripheral stuff that you should consider before adopting wholesale.
Or just create new gods as you need them.
For a really, really complete write-up of a DCC god, see this:

Re: looking for some advices about Gods
As stated before, gods and patrons are often the same entities in DCC. However, When I GM, I like to flavor my world where the gods are omnipotent beings that exist beyond the boundaries of reality, and patrons are just supremely powerful beings that exist in the mortal realm (and with whom you could drink a beer).
I'd drink a beer with Sezrekan.
