Reading Antagonist Stats

Post by Archivist »

When a stat block says something like "Claws +3 1d4" does that mean +3 to their roll when they attack with their claws, or +3 to damage and attack with their claws?

The former. If the +3 was added to the damage, then it would be written as 1d4+3.
