Anyone here also a member of the Google + DCCRPG community? I have been trying to join for over a month and my request is not being accepted. Is there something special I need to do?

What is your Google Plus profile URL? I will invite you if you are not in the approval area (which happens sometimes).
Future applicants take note: I don't approve anyone without seeing evidence that they are a gamer or at a least human that interacts with humans in a human way somewhere on their profile.

Someone else just PMed me (via this forum) their URL and it was very helpful as their name was not in the waiting list.
