Hello Everyone,
This Sunday I will participating in my first DCC game. I'm quite excited. Years ago I played a bastardized version of various books a of Chain-mail, DnD and ADnD. In recent years I've played some ShadowRun 4thE and some One Ring which I really liked. My friend has been trying to get me to play DCC for a while now and got me the book for Christmas. I'm looking forward to taking the plunge and even took part in the dice Kick-starter that is currently up to have a full set of dice.
I'd like to thank everyone for the great posts. I've been learning a lot and look forward to participating more once I have a few games under my belt.
Cheers
Beerba Fett

I think that your DCC experience will be a "blast from the past" and should bring back some of the fun from your Chainmail/OD&D/AD&D experience.
Good luck with your game and enjoy DCC!

Re: newbie
Thanks everyone for the welcome. The game was great. Went so well we are queued up again to continue the funnel this Saturday. We had a great group 2 new to roll playing two experienced players and a great DM.
There was heroics, death, and the group really gelled. Hoping to make it through the adventure. You get attached to these level zeroes.
Best
Beerba.
