Aereth Reborn...now where are those maps?

Post by MrHemlocks »

Hello

We were told about one year ago that once the new DCC is up and going that Aereth campaign maps/booklets would be soon to follow. Well...?

If you are not going redo Aereth for us, as either free or pay downloads or even in paper form, can you than stop using it as a reference point in you core rule books and adventures? I mean come on..how hard is to freaken take out the D&D stuff and reprint it?

Can you toss us a bone? Least give us a PDF of the Aereth campaign books/maps? Hell, you can even leave in the old D&D stuff if you like :) ANYTHING?!? Looking at amazon some greedy souls are selling Aereth 'stuff' for $600.00...what a joke :x

Love the game but I see NO reason for such a delay for an almost ready complete campain setting.

Doesn't it all depend on your idea of "up and going", especially bearing in mind that payments and sales data can take several months to really start appearing in this cottage industry or ours? Joseph may well have needed a good year to see how well DCC would work (or not) and for it to establish its legs properly with the support he'd already planned and had underway. Now, with much more solid information at hand regarding DCC's success, he can proceed from here. You may see "NO reason" but that really doesn't mean there isn't one.

So right you are. Guess I will wait for Joseph to reply.

Neeto! Did not know. BTW, I think you write awesome adventures Harley. You've hit your wheelhouse with the DCC RPG. So has DK2.

WoW! Those maps really look nice! Do you also have any links expaining the places and creatures that are there? Any history of Aereth?

Is there a chance you can just pdf all of Aereth campaign setting...even 3.5 Aereth is betten than nothing)

Hemlock,

There's this:
http://www.rpgnow.com/product/16180/Dun ... rers_id=44

Thankfully, it's not $266.

How hard is it to convert it to none AD&D 3.5? I will be buying and using this, least to you all do a reprint :) , and was wondering if the 3.5 'stuff' will greatly change my DCC campaign setting.
