That is hilarious!

Out of curiosity, what is the title and date of that comic book?

Mister Miracle #18, cover dated March 1974 (with an indicia date of Feb-Mar 1974, which probably means it hit the stands in January).

Coincidence?

Doesn't Joseph Goodman suggest jumping around in time in the book?!?!?!

Cathbad the Meek (herbalist): AC 9; 4 hp; S 7, A 7, St 11, P 17, I 13, L 8; Neutral; Club, herbs, 50' rope, 50 cp; -1 to melee attack rolls.
Sexton Abraham (grave digger): Dead and burning, Shovel, trowel, 20 cp on corpse; I assume that the candle burned up good.

My initial thought was that this had been photoshopped somehow. It's even more awesome to realize that this is the way it actually appeared in 1974!

In yet another coincidence, January 1974 is when Dungeons & Dragons first went on sale.

The DDC line "Adventure as 1974 intended you to..." is even more pregnant with meaning than we thought. Goodman is an evil, demented genius.

That is freakin' awesome.

It's this kind of creativity, thoughtfulness, and positivity that is growing this fine community.

Don't make Goodman angry lest he release his cosmic fury upon our lands.
