Hi folks, I'm Mike from the west coast of Australia.
I started role-playing in 1981 with AD&D, Tunnels & Trolls, Traveller and Gamma World. Over the years I've tried lots (LOTS) of game systems but always drift back to old-school D&D or Original D&D - Finn's ODD74 boards are my favorite spot.
I'm taking DCC for a spin because it looked fresh and different.

Hey, Mike. Glad you found this place. "Fresh and different" is a great way to describe the game. It takes many of the old ideas and infuses some randomness and coolness into the game to make it seem more vibrant.Hogscape wrote:I'm taking DCC for a spin because it looked fresh and different.
It helps that the modules are so good. The flavor of the modules is very "pulp S&S" style with a lot of coolness and a lot of creepiness. And great maps.
