Updating the old modules?

Post by tburke0 »

Any plans (or fan initiatives) to update the back library of modules to the new rules?

Nothing announced to date -- there is a plan for a steady stream of new material, however.

A while ago Harley posted a port of DCC #29 to the forum. Other than that they haven't been updated yet. I believe he has plans to update a few more of them at some point.

My understanding is that the focus will be on new material specifically written for the new system.

Doug may very well hold the dubious title of “most DCC RPG PCs lost during the course of convention play.”

Yeah, if I remember correctly, Joseph stated that the new DCC RPG adventures would strive to have there own "vibe", so they wouldn't be reprinting conversions of the old adventures. That being said, I'm sure pretty much every one can be tweaked with very little effort to fit the new rules. And I'm sure the community will answer that call. :)
