Look what I got in the mail

Post by goodmangames »

Thought you guys might enjoy this. Jeff Easley is old-school -- he still sends me originals to scan on my end. Look what I got in the mail today. :)

There's a lot to drool over there...! I especially like upper left and far right. Feeblemind is amusing, too. Do you get to keep the originals, or have to send them back?

And I also couldn't help but notice your Mac has numerous newer versions of software (including OS) than I have... :? :P

Am I the only one who, after looking over the pics, was then drawn towards the awesome pencil holder in the upper right corner?

I want one.

Awesome!

And the pencil holder is pretty sweet, too! 8)

They are brilliant. He is by far one of the best fantasy artists ever. The art will be the thing that gets my players to try this game....and looking at this they will be begging to play.

I didn't notice the pencil holder. When I scrolled right I was mesmerized by the colorful mouse pad.

I love Easley, him and elmore really remind me of the 80's books...

Thanks for pointing out the pen holder, it's a mimic!

Tiny Mimic: Init +2; Atk bite +2 (dmg 1d3); AC 12; HD 1d6; MV 5'; SP camouflage; Act 1d20; SV Fort +2, Ref +0, Will +2; AL N; XP XXX.

I actually was focused more on that tiny keyboard, wondering how you can effectively type on that thing.

We had the chance to have lunch with Easley at the last GaryCon. He was very personable and laid back. Sorta like hanging out with your quiet uncle. It was cool listening to his old TSR stories, though I'm pretty sure his recommendation for lunch (big bowl of fried octopus) moved me two steps in the wrong direction on the pulmonary critical failure chart.

I'm like that guy in the Burger King commercial with the really tiny hands. :)

I got that mug at a street fair in the Haight (San Francisco) years ago. I've always liked it.

As for the originals, I have to return them, although occasionally I may buy one here and there that I really like. Usually I show up at Gary Con with a load of originals to return from the previous year...
