Nearly 200 minis for $100 pledge & still more minis to be added. These minis are ideal for DCC.

I'm selling a LARGE collection of old school Grenadier and Ral Partha minis from the 70s, 80s, and 90s on eBay. UserID = beer_motor. Will be listing more every day until the whole group is gone. Also going to sell a big collection of painting supplies (GW paints).

Buy my stuff cheap!

That sounds awesome! I know my players would be more keen to use paper minis if we could just print off new ones when they get better loot.

I threw some money at that Reaper Kickstarter. They just crossed 1.5 million and the $100 backers are getting a ton of stuff. Even though I rarely have the time anymore, I do like to paint!

If I didn't have something in the vicinity of 600 unpainted miniatures, I'd probably be excited about the Reaper thing...

Seriously, I will jump in the bandwagon. (Maybe only at the 60$ level though.. still a good deal and I don't need so much pirate/space hulk/vermin minis.)

Last batch of mine are now on eBay... userID = beer_motor. Some good old school stuff in there, including some Heritage kobolds, Tomb of Spells stuff from Grenadier, etc.

Hey guys! Looking for great old school style minis? I just found out that otherworld is releasing characters. All the classic archetypes are there! Check them out. Otherworld also makes the famous pig nosed orcs. Check them out! http://www.indiegogo.com/otherworldDA?c=home&a=1586194

Now when are we getting Peter Mullen and Erol Otus line ;)

I'm new to painting minis so any advice is welcome. How do you make your bases? They look really good!

It's very simple :
1. Models are glued on wood bases of 20mm square (Litko)
2. I use a texture on the base (Armageddon Dust from Games Workshop). You can also use modelism sand and glue
3. I dry brush with white sand color (Prince August)
4. Some static grass is glued

While I have about 25 years worth of collecting miniatures to pull from, I am planning on using the Game Dorn and the threatened city of "Argos" for the basis of our upcoming Isle of the Unknown DCC campaign. Take a look. It's a cool board game, but immediately I thought it would make a great spot to begin our sandbox tour of the weird!

Dorn!

The pieces are small so they are probably about a centimeter in diameter. But, the afforded portability and versatility is worth while for a game like DCC. Here is the game being played:
