All things Whiterock

Post by finarvyn »

Inspired by JediOre, I’m thinking of running my next C&C campaign in Whiterock so I wanted to track down all of the information on the Goodman Games forum pertaining to DCC 51 (Castle Whiterock) and DCC 51.5 (The Sinister Secret of Whiterock), which I believe are the only two products currently in the series. In the process of doing my research, I unearthed almost 50 threads on the topic! Whiterock could support its own forum! :D

Admittedly, some of the threads (such as the "free download" ones) are no longer valid. But, since I was looking through them all anyway I thought I might as well include them. 8)

It's also really huge.

I'm still trying to get my head around all of the components of the box, but so far it looks awesome.

Wish I'd thought of that, but it just happened that way. I did a similar thread on the Dragonsfoot froum for the old Dave Arneson "Blackmoor" campaign threads, where I found many threads scattered around but no single place collected them all. So I did it.

Now, if we had a Whiterock-only forum this thread would become totally obsolete. 8)

This is one of my all time favorites. I wish I had gotten to finish it. I was taking my kids through and lost them to the xbox 360 at some point. I haven't been able to coax them back to the table yet. :(

This is unfortunate. My kids are into PS3 when they play solo but are quick to run back to the table when I run C&C or other old-school game. My kids are kind of "into" dice, so that helps a lot.

I'm thinking of asking them to come back to the table as a Christmas gift to the old man.

Or...

 I guess I could hold their x-mas gifts hostage until CWR has been breeched one more time.

All collected into this new Castle Whiterock forum! Which, if you'll notice, has 60 threads...there was even more out there once I started looking thread by thread! I think CW officially counts as the "most discussed DCC ever."
