RPGA and MyRealms and Goodman Games Adventures

I've gotten confirmation that we can use published adventures to adapt to MyRealms games for the LFR RPGA. I think I'm going to use one of the Level Up adventures or maybe even Death Dealer.

I'm all ears for any other ideas. Anyone else do this yet?

Any ideas on how to break up the bigger adventures for 4 hour slots and still be relatively self contained?

Interesting - I'd love to hear more about what you end up doing.

Our tournament modules are designed to be played in 4-hour slots. (For example, check out DCC #63.) Of course, these are 4-hour slots by competitive, fast-moving players, so they may translate to 6-8 hours for a more normal pace of play.

Game is this Sunday. I will absolutely checkout DCC #63.

I suggested to some of the LFR folks that I was going to run the Cthulu adventure out of Level UP and some asked me to wait to get their characters up to that level. So I may do this instead. And some of them are very competitive and fast moving. One of the reasons I like public play, keeps me on my toes.

OK, I've got it. Is each round supposed to be 4 hours?

Yes, in competition we play them as one-slot events at Gen Con, which are 4 hours. Actually, maybe they were 5 hours at Gen Con 2009...I sorta vaguely remember thinking we gave them more time. Every other competition module before that was 4 hours, though. Let me check my records...but definitely either 4 or 5 hours. Note that many teams don't actually finish an entire level in that time, but some do. If you score the rounds, you can compare them to the actual scores of other teams at the con:

I had to cancel today. I love the mod and will run it. I'll post here about the Cthulu one from Level UP.
