Is there any sort of automated character sheet generator for Amethyst?

We've posted a PDF of the character sheet (see link below). But I'm guessing you mean something more like a software program?

That's what I mean. I'd like it if it were easy to create characters. I suppose that many of the 4e character sheets out there are no very friendly to laying out a pile of 'Powers'. I also find that advancing characters a level in 4e is more of chore than AD&D. I am a huge fan of the Power Cards as well.

I can see the reason WOTC doesn't want to completely open the character generator, but for a clearly commercial campaign setting such as Amethyst, it seems like they blocking the people.

There's a program called Hero Lab released by Lone Wolf Development that lets you draw on official WotC D&D content to make characters electronically. I haven't used it in a long time, but that'd be a cool way to make characters electronically and print out a spiffy looking PDF.

Barring all that, however, even just a form-fillable PDF would be helpful.
