The missing attack line is also missing in the last version of our manuscript that I have, but I think Int vs. Reflex is the best solution, since dodging the hands would prevent taking damage from them.
Co-author: Forgotten Heroes: Fist, Fang, and Song and Scythe and Shroud; Heroes' Handbook: Eladrin; and two finished Goodman projects that haven't been announced yet, with others on the drawing board!
