D&D 3.75

Post by fathead »

All of the proven 3rd party publishers (Goodman, Necro, Paizo) team up to create a new edition of D&D to compete with 4E. They bring Monte Cook out of retirement and bring in the old slugger - Gary Gygax.

They give the Dragonborn a curb check and leave them bleeding in the streets. They also yank the horns off of the tieflings. They console the bereft bard and the disconsolate druid.

And they might also make the gnomes happy.

...can't forget the gnomes!

Huzzah for gnomes!

They do talk about D&D 3.75 on the Paizo boards too. Perhaps there is some merit in this idea.

Perhaps you've stumbled on a conspiracy, and the game companies are hoping this thread will just go away before they have to kill you.

This OBVIOUSLY didn't happen -- We're being put-on here, folks!

They aren't going to kill a potential player. :P

Nope. Fathead's been 'recruited'... 8)

Or, he's possibly gone to Portmeirion....

I can see this turning into The Price Is Right...

Tomorrow on Gaming Report: "Paizo Publishing announces the release of their 'OGL 3.75'"

Next Day on Gaming Report: "Goodman Games announces the release of OGL 3.85'"

The Day After: "Troll Lord to release C&C 3.95"

This could be fun. :)

Do you think they have an English version?

I'm gonna ask Santa to get me that for Christmas.

Wow. This post is at least partially right... Looks like Paizo is gonna give it a try. Impressive forecasting.

Didn't you see our new slogan? "C&C, the game so cool we don't need editions. We did it right the first time." 8)
