I, for one, hope so all things considered. For now I think the big holdup for the vast majority of 3rd party publishers will be if/when the 4th ed core material becomes available. That is, theoretically speaking of course, if the powers that be can be convinced that 3.5e pdf versions of some modules could be produced pending the release of 4th ed at which time the corresponding updated print versions would be made available. At least it would be nice for the overall fan base in general ...

Well ... this forum ... and Judges Guild news in general has been pretty sparse for much of this year. I would have hoped by now that the appropriate announcements would have been made and work well under way, but the terms of the GSL have apparently thrown a kink into things even putting the Necromancer Games version of Tegel Manor on indefinite hold. Until Bob Jr decides upon a future direction for Judges Guild, I would surmise that everything is on hold with the possible exception of new C&C releases from James Mishler.

Well, all hope is not lost. By the Judges Guild material not going the 4th Edition route, further OGL / d20 material will be made possible. While this certainly bodes well for C&C and James Mishler's projects for the Wilderlands, his company (AGP) is not exclusively supporting just that system. A revised version of the "Player's Guide to the Wilderlands" for 3.5 is planned along with a C&C version. The only thing that is uncertain at this point is the future of Tegel Manor itself -- I have no idea what they will end up doing with it.

Well ... after asking around it appears that the principals of Eostros have decided to tackle 4E in case the terms of the revised GSL prove to be favorable. Currently I am not too optimistic that the revised GSL will be radically different than the current version which still leaves everything up to Bob Jr when it comes to selecting which system to use going forward ... even if it proves to be the old Judges Guild Universal Format. At this point I would rather see new releases from Goodman remain d20/OGL as I think it would hold a broader appeal to the fan base at large than would 4E/GSL, but I am not the one running the show.
