Really Cool Idea:X-Crawl & Pathfinder

In XCC, you're a superstar athlete taking your chances in a live-on-pay-per-view death sport. It’s a modern-day world with a fantasy twist, and the game is simple: the Dungeon Judge, or DJ, creates an artificial dungeon under controlled — but lethal — conditions. Can you survive?

Really Cool Idea:X-Crawl & Pathfinder

Post by Raptor »

I think it would be a really cool idea if you could get Paizo Publishing to consider using the X-Crawl setting as the setting for one of their Pathfinder Campaigns. I know it would certainly require some paperwork on both sides, but you would get a lot of additional materials for the setting for minimal development cost and probably increased publicity of the setting, and they would get access to a setting with most of the background already completed and the pre-existing fan base. If you simply offered them use of the copyrighted materials for a minimal cost, I'm sure they would go for it.

This is a nice idea. For those of us who have a not so small fourtion tied into the 3.5 system Pathfinder is a good option. I DL'd there alpha product yesterday and it seem pretty tight. A join venture between Goodman and Paizo would be cool. As well as opening XCrawl to fans of the old 3.5 and the new 4th Ed. Just my 2.3256345673457345673456345 cents.

So far as I know, Pathfinder is still being beta tested... And it apparently trades some flaws for other flaws?
