When members of the party have access to this spell, it tends to make encounters not so difficult for the group.

Anyone have any advice on how to even the odds for the monsters?

Flour. Lots of access to flour.

Have those monster pantries stocked with flour!

Dirty floors will help. Folks tend to take notice when shoe prints are coming towards you.

Stozari is an artist, so she could always throw paint. Or, give her a gem of seeing to even the odds.

The problem with high-level adventures is that the players always have access to cool magic that can make a mockery of most adversaries. Find creative ways to make them expend spells like this before they get to the main baddie. This might involve throwing in a lot of wandering monsters.

(In playtest, the wizard got smashed by a trap before she met Stozari, so she wasn't a major factor in fighting her.)
