Does the 'Heroes Arise' box contain anything other than the component modules? I recall the earlier boxed set 'Saga of the Dragon Cult' had a booklet with additional material to link the adventures.

You are correct, "Saga" did have new material, but "Heroes" is strictly the 5 modules with no new material.
