Story Awards - Halls of the Minotaur DCC 35a

Post by Mark_Gedak »

Are there any story XP awards for this module?
I noticed that some DCCs have and others do not.

If the PCs survive, they get to becomes first level. Does that count? :D

But you are right, there are no story awards written into Halls, IIRC.

Yep, that's correct. Not all DCCs have "side goals" that the PCs can fulfill for bonus XP. In Halls of the Minotaur, the big task for the hapless but brave heroes is to survive!

Of course, you can add "side goals" to the module pretty easily if you want to give some players extra stuff to chew on. The wizard's laboratory offers a few possibilities for side quests that could generate extra XP, as do the corpse in the crevice and the altar at the top.
