What are you interested in seeing?

Since I haven't been getting much response to the stuff I've been posting recently, I decided to ask you what you want.

Do ypu want Fluff (Groups and Places), Gear (weapons, steam powers, and magic items), Rogues Gallery (allies, NPCs, and enemies), Training (tactics & tricks for adventurers), Rule Options (classes, feats, & spells), Adventure Ideas, or more Mech Designs.

Even though I'm a big fan of the DragonMech game, I'm oddly not very interested in mechs.

I'm highbrow - I don't want fluff, I want flavor. Anyone can make or adjust rules. Flavor is something unique to the creator, and it's the thing I most enjoy reading and adapting and outright stealing for my home game.

Mech design seems tedious in the current system. The options are scattered throughout the books. I'm hopping DragonMech Battle does a better job of managing that.

Considering the low volume of this forum you may not see much in response no matter what you post.

I'm interested in seeing some cool gear to play with, as well as some further exploration of the future of the steamborg.

I'm working on that last one, though...

Rules Options are always nice. Personally, I'd like to see more stuff fleshed out on the lunar side. Monsters for a wider level spread, lunar templates, and more on the gods. Like a Lunar domain. I'm working on one spell for it already: Skelth Swarm. It conjures the essence of swarm of skelths in an area (kind of like a fireball) and drains your heat. Deals cold damage + some CON (or maybe DEX, due to shivering). It can also be used to shut down all steam engines in an area of effect. I think the domain's granted ability would be a bonus on saves against air, fire, and water, plus a penalty against earth. At higher levels (Improved Domain, for those who make use of that option), it's no effect on a successful save if it's usually a save for partial. Considering all of the references, there needs to be a lunar cultist PrC - or at least stats for being a cleric of Erefeviviasta or Seroficitacit.

I'd like to hear tactics and tricks. What techniques and such have arisen? I think this sounds pretty interesting. I also await easier mech design.

As odd as it may seem, I am more interested in seeing FLUFF and ADVENTURE IDEAS. I have enough mechs and powers and gear to give me several campaigns worth. What I am always more interested in seeing is the fleshing out of any campaign world, and Highpoint is as cool as it gets. I have many ideas of my own, but I'm open to input, and I love the details that add to the atmosphere and "feel" of a place. Besides, those I can use in 3rd edition, 3.5 ed or 4th ed, whichever I choose, the information is the same, I might just have to do some tweaking of stats or such. Of course I wouldn't touch 4th ed with a thousand foot tall city mech lol.
Anyway those are my choices, thanks for letting me have my two cents, I'm going to bed:)

Well, based on the answers here I think I will plan to post something flavorful, with a little bit of new rules. I'm going to give you some information on a group called the Nameless Clan, a whispered rumor among the Irontooth. Anybody interested?

Sounds interesting. I wonder why they're nameless. What is their secret?

There is no secret. They are sick of being labeled so they decided they are not apart of any group. Unfortunately people started referring to them as the Nameless Clan which infuriated them to no end.

So, I post all this stuff about the Nameless Clan on the the board, with all kinds of good content, like you said you wanted, but nobody replies! How disappointing.

Sounds cool. There's quite a bit you could do with them, to be sure. One of the best things, of course, is that they can be as much allies of the characters as adversaries, depending on the situation. I have always liked Ninja and other assassin/agent types, especially the ones that are almost a secret society unto themselves, as the Nameless would probably be, loyal solely to their clansmen/women.
Thank you, Raptor, I will most definitely use this idea. You're brilliant. 8)

And I'm not even finished yet! But I am glad to finally get some response to my posts.

What's next?

Since I've largely finished the Nameless clan posts, I'm wondering what I should do next. Right now I'm trying to decide between posting the Mageborg class, and some varied general adventure hooks. Any preferences?

Well, first of all thank you again for the idea of the Nameless Clan, I've already added them into my campaign. I'd personally love some additional adventure hooks and ideas. I have my own, of course, but I can always use more. I tend to tend towards a dark and desperate Highpoint, fighting the good fight. Might be cool to have a side adventure about an giant abandoned mech that was somehow haunted or cursed that players might come across?
I'd LOVE to see a Dragonmech game run here somehow, though it would probably be 4ed, which I've no interest in playing or running.
Any adventure ideas or general mini scenarios or hooks I could adapt easily enough, should they require such. So yes please, I would be very interested in hearing some of your ideas:)

Adventure hooks. Definitely adventure hooks. While I'm intrigued by this mageborg, I don't think it's something I would want to see in use all that often.

Did you check out the addition I made last week, detailing the Shangri-la, the Nameless clan's home Kabuto?

An actual completed adventure would be sweet. Populated with NPCs that are fleshed out with personalities / motivations /etc and not just statblocks.

I have all the books now, so I DON'T need any more mechs / feats / guns.

Maybe even make a non-official sequel to the Shardsfall Quest?

I don't have any completed adventures, but I have a detailed outline/stats for an adventure I used for my campaign/at GenCon I've been meaning to post. And a couple loose outlines for adventures I never ran.
