Is there anywhere on the site that errata is listed? I saw a few things in the Steam Warriors book that didn't agree with the main book.

Out of curiosity, which things?

in the main book it say you get a +2 synergy bonus to Craft (mechcraft) if you have 5 ranks in Knowledge (steam engines). The feat Engine Insight in Steam Warriors say you get the +2 bonus to Craft (mechcraft) is from Knowledge (engineering).

Yeah, that looks like errata all right. D'oh! If you want to post it here, we can make this the official errata thread, then eventually compile them. (If there are enough to compile, that is. Hopefully not!)

So which one is right?

The core rulebook is correct: 5 ranks in Knowledge (steam engines) provides a +2 synergy bonus to Craft (mechcraft).

On the Cogworm of the Great Walkers prestige class in the Steam Warriors book, it says that "a cogworm gear behaves as though it has two boilers integrated into it at no additional cost in weight or parts." (pg. 23, Cogworm Gear Steam Power, end of 2nd paragraph)

However, under the Alterations ability, it says that "unless a cogworm gear or cable is added, the automatic two-amplifier benefit is not given to steam powers added to altered features."

So, two amplifiers or two boilers?

Good catch of something that obviously slipped past during the editing stage. Boilers boost strength, capacity, etc., while amplifiers enhance the energy output. Since the cogworm gear steam power enables a mechanism to do more than is normally possible for its size, I'd say two boilers is the correct answer. (We're going over the original notes now, so if additional info pops up, we'll let you know.) Sorry about the confusion.

What Ken said. When I wrote that section, I intended the cogworm gears to function like boilers, not amplifiers. Sorry for the mix up.
