Mech Manual not on Amazon?

Post by MagusRogue »

I was wondering something, has anyone else noticed that the Mech Manual is the only Dragonmech product not at amazon.com? I went there to get Dragonmech and Shardsfall, and noticed even the Second Age of Walkers was there (also something called steam warriors. confused bout that one), but the Mech Manual isn't there. Any ideas why?

Similar problem at Barnes & Noble. It's there, but still listed with a November 2004 publication date and "out of print". And I suspect that since the Second Age of Walkers is still listed with a January publication date, it will have similar problems.

The Mech Manual problem should now be fixed on Amazon, though it might take a week or so to update on their site.

As for Barnes & Noble, now I'll look into *that*...

And for the record, B&N now lists the Second Age of Walkers as being "out of print".

Same thing on Amazon now. It hadn't been there at all when I looked two days now, but now it turns up as out of print. :?

Hey, good news! It's now available for immediate shipping on both B&N and Amazon. (Well, "1 to 2 days" on Amazon, but that's a hell of a lot better than "out of print"! :) )

well, immediate shipping if you wanna pay $10-15 in shipping and handling. And don't bother with checks or money orders. It'll take 3-4 weeks before they even process your check/MO.......... *Growls* I ordered my Dragonmech books Jan 29, and i just got them like monday...........

Mech Manual is "out of print" again at B&N. There was all of ONE COPY that made it to the warehouse, which I immediately ordered for my group. However, there are about 30 copies of the Second Age of Walkers in the warehouse, which is odd since I'm pretty sure it's not out yet. My guess is that someone messed up and if you order a Second Age of Walkers you'll actually get a Mech Manual.

B&N has finally figured out what they're doing with graphic novels, but they have a long way to go on roleplaying stuff.

Or perhaps, given the announcement that Second Age of Walkers is out now, they actually DO have copies of it in the warehouse.

remember what I said about about disabling anonymous posting?

it costs them a fraction of a cent to keep a bot trolling, and they won't notice we all thinkn they're *censored... you really don't want to know* and aren't going to send any customers thier way

banning thier IP (or IP block) from posting could also work, but runs the risk of blocking legitimate posters as well

now, if you could block annonymous posting specifically from their IP block, yays ^_^
