something to go along with the Complete Guide to Wererats

Post by snakewing »

For people who own the Complete Guide to Wererats or Dungeon Crawl Classics #1: Idylls of the Rat King, here is something else on the web that you might think about using.

http://www.d20zines.com/html/downloads/ ... 20zine.pdf

On page 32 there are stats for a goblin wererat hunting party, which is meant to be used as a random encounter. I figured that they could be used as either a sign of what your characters will have to face in DCC #1 (they're EL 8 vs. the character's level of 1 to 4, put the PCs through a rude awakening) or you could use them as a hunting tribe belonging to the Redtooth Brood, provided under the free materials section of the Goodman Games website.

I just thought I'd add this since it would go along with either idea relatively well.

This is an adventure from the WOTC website with dwarven werewats as the main antagonists. Might fit in nicely with a wererat campaign or a game with wererats as a subtle threat that the PCs aren't fully aware of yet.

This link goes to the map for the above adventure
