I'm also in the Chicago area (Bolingbrook) but my group is full up as well. (Actually, I have people asking to join that I keep turning away. Aren't there any DM's any more?)
Seems like Chicago is a real hotbead for "old school" gaming. I know of several posters on some of the boards in the area.
