Random adventure design

Post by LoneWolfDrifter »

Im using this forum to create my first adventure that I hope will impress the people at Goodman Games.. Feel free to critique if you wish.

Also, this info will be out of order. Thats how I work.

Tomb of Hoodless

First Level: Surface

- Dense vegetation dies away near the cave entrance, rocky square in ground indicating possible underground grave leads to a square hallway.

- A horse skeleton, tied to a tree, ran through with sharpened poles.

- A strange hum can be heard in a one mile radius. It causes forgetfulness and rage.

Second Level: Entrance/basement level 1

- Smells of death, urine and feces emanate from within the cave entrance once opened. Causes Nausea.

- Maggots writhe on the floor, the air is black with flies.

- Body parts of humans and animals, with flesh and without litter the ground if they can be seen beneath the ankle deep maggots.

- Scrawlings on the wall indicate a person was trapped in there and went insane before they ate their partner alive.

- Small plaques on the wall get into your mind. They have stuff on them about the reader.

Level 2:Prison

- A section of hallways, each with locker style containers lining the walls. People still kept alive within them drink the rotten mess that seeps through the floor above. If the locker is opened, the person inside is crushed by a mechanical device, intestines coming out and their eyes bulging.

- A metallic orb floats through the hallways silently, it attacks intruders by flying into their heads, ultimately bludgeoning their brains out. If defeated, inside is a key to the cages that will release the prisoners without killing them. The prisoners know this. Fingers are sometimes on the floor where the prisoners have kept their fingers through the bars of their small cages and the ball has rammed into them, cutting them off.

If a locker is opened, Hoodless, a large Ettin Lich is awakened from his slumber and smashes out from his walled up room from behind a section of lockers. Hoodless has above average intelligence compared to Ettins and was transformed by a different human lich as an experiment. His phylactery is the key in the metallic orb. One head is called Null and it is Sadistic, One is called Void and it is Masachistic. Hoodless is the name it goes by collectively however, and it loves cutting itself on sharp protrusions from walls or glass.

Rochter

Rochter is a small town

Rochter Inn- Old, decrepit and worn down. This ten room Inn is abnormally large for such a small town. It is quiet in the main room. Not even a fire crackles in the hearth. An old man named Phylun Roch is the proprieter. He stands all day eyeing the visitors and wiping the table with a dirty cloth.

Paked Goods- General store. Closed most of the time. When the place is open its only for a few hours before nightfall when the owner Harshall Roch is home.

The main hall- A destroyed building, the size of the entire town itself. Off in the distance.
