Membership log-in conundrum...

The short version: I can't remember my password, and I never updated my e-mail address when my ISP made the bit after the @ that I was using unavailable. Thus, I can't get logged-in on my repaired, restored computer because I can't remember that password, and I can't use 'forgot my password' since the e-mail is wrong. And I can't update the e-mail without the password. I'm logged-in on this laptop, but that doesn't help...

So my question at the moment: can I attempt to log-in as many times as I want/need to without repercussions?

I think eventually I'll hit upon the right password, since I use a group of various words, terms, numbers in different combinations everywhere-ish. Hopefully, it's not so long ago that I have stopped using/don't remember some part of it...

If you are logged in one computer, can you not go to your account settings and change the password? And update your email address for that matter?

Me, too.

I posted here, hoping a Mod would see it casually, rather than specifically adding to their to-do list (which I'll do eventually, if no answer appears here).
