Red Eye
I recommend the new Wes Craven thriller "Red Eye." Not only is it tense and effective, but -- shockingly!! -- it's a streamlined and satisfying 85 minutes! Who da thunk it? It's not a great movie, but it's very entertaining, and it's nice to see an efficient, well-acted crowd pleaser that doesn't need to bloat itself to a two-hour running time. (I can't help but think of how John Woo's "Face/Off" was practicaly ruined by the ridiculous chase-after-chase padding at the end.)

Sorry, but RED EYE was just a waste of time and money for me. The whole plot is so full of clichés and the acting is really bad. I could hardly believe that this was a Wes Craven film. I mean, what the heck happend to him? Goofy. Can't recommend it at all.
The lucky guy who gets to translate DCCs into German!
