Here's my latest map, an exotic undersea location for the Ryu, or Sea Dragon King (god) of Kaidan. I was experimenting with creating a depth effect in the water. I used a combination of Xara Xtreme Pro 4.0, Zbrush 1.13, 3D apps like Nendo and Raydream and PD Particles for plantlife.
Enjoy!

I just found this map and... WOW very nice work.

Re: Ryukyo: the Sea Dragon's City and Palace Gateway
Thanks guys!
Though this map won't appear in the current mini-adventure arc set in my feudal Japan inspired horror setting, the first adventure is now in editing and playtesting, and expected to be released by early February, with the second adventure under development right now, for an expected release in March and part 3 in April.
We are still taking on patrons to help develop the setting if you're interested, here's a link: Kaidan Patronage Project.
I'll be creating some gazetteers of Kaidan (each main island, the capital, and mystical sites), and this map will be featured in the mystical sites gazetteer, sometime later in the year. So its destined for publication, right now I need to get the introductory adventure released to make the eventual gazetteers even possible.
Of my more realistic style maps, this is one of my favorites as well! I love watery realms.
