Nice piece once again Glad!

Man! Every time I set foot in a swamp in a game, I always ended up dying horribly!

Thanks, buddy.

Yeah, swamps can be hazardous to an adventuring party's health...especially when they're being attacked by a shambling mound who's being controlled by an even meaner evil leprechaun.

I don't think my halfling thief spotted this particular trap when he went for the pot of gold.

Glad, that is another amazing piece....

...but could I make a tiny contructive critisism? The stalactites look kinda soft-serve-ice-creamy... I think if the edges on them and their shadows were jagged, even just very slightly jagged, the pic would be a lot more gritty... jagged stone suspended above adventurers' heads? Sounds like an appropriate visual metaphor to me...!

Thanks for the kind words, GnomeBoy!

I often times use reference photos to go by for cave interiors and if there's one thing I've noticed, caves have a huge variation from one cave to another as far as their stalagmites and stalactites are concerned. For this particular drawing, I used this photo as a reference point and these particular stalactites weren't of the "piercer" variety. Maybe I'll use the more jagged versions in my next cave pic.

Thanks again!

I totally get you on how many weird things there actually are in the world... I like to paint clouds (what?) and there are clouds I've seen and/or photographed that no one would ever believe in a painting or drawing, no matter how faithfully an artist could render them.

I'm just of the mind that that picture would be more menacing with the edges on those things being a bit slightly teethy.

Now, if you had some kind of slimy creatures threatening the party, those things as drawn would be absolutely perfect.

It's the gestault I'm talkin' 'bout.

It really is a great drawing. Wish I could do that....

dude, I just love your attention to detail. and the variations of your characters are awsome to. they look plausable, like real people would look; i.e.- going bald, wrinkles etc. too many people try to draw superheroes with the perfect physique and square jaw. again Joseph Goodman would be remiss if he didn't hire you.(?)

Here's what will be the cover for the 4th in the "L Series" of modules by Len Lakofka, starting all the way back at L1: Secret of Bone Hill, L4 will be called Devilspawn and will be available soon over at Dragonsfoot.org.
