Her legs should actually be about half a head height longer. The lower legs would be the ones getting lengthened.

Check the midpoint of the body (also known as the crotch). Note how it seems to be too low. The length of the legs from the midpoint down should be precisely the legnth from the midpoint up, otherwise you're dealing with some sort of midget.

I'm not using my computer at this moment, so I don't have access to my vast database of body studies, otherwise I could show you

The One Who is Not Whole

This is an image for a prestige class, one far more serious than my last two outings. It is the 'Psychopomp,' a psionic mediator between the realm of the living and the dead.

I worked out the coloring in almost no time at all; the speed at which it emerged surprised me. Still, it came out looking really good.

And the dreams begin......

Stage One: After handling infested pieces of meteorites or drinking exposed water, the victim contracts the bacterium. Over the next several days, the xenobacteria extracts genetic material from throughout the body. It is during this time that the victim experiences audio and visual hallucinations, in addition to tentacular dreams, due to the settling of the bacterium in the spinal fluid and bone marrow.. These dreams do not pass until stage five of the infection, and only become more vivid as the infection spreads.

Drawn in illustration class.

And that toy is Adobe Illustrator.

This here is my first attempt at doing anything with it.

(previous image didn't wanna appear)

This is the zen buddhist machine. In a world where robots try to become human, it seeks to become more than human, since it already has the perfect body. It thus seeks the perfect mind, one of having no mind.

That's a great image. I love the combination of techno/anime and meditative bliss. For some reason the style reminds me of something Moebius would do -- maybe it's the clean, decisive lines on her upper body. Have you ever read the Incal series? It reminds me of that.

I've been working very hard on machines lately, so I've put out some ideas for the "Seraphim" mecha series from my writing. The tail fin opens up and the wings unfold into giant feathery-looking flapping wings. The idea seems sound to me, I just can't draw it any better.

Image

I hate drawing machines!

I've also been working on my novel lately, too. I finally got someone interested - but I don't know if that's a good thing.

Agent (with whip): Grar! Write faster!
Me: I'll have the next chapter ready by Tuesday, I swear!
Agent: *CRACK!* It had better be, you worthless sack of brain-flesh!

New artwork for a friend's campaign setting. The thing that went through my head at the time? "Clive Barker's Wizard of Oz."

And a new sketchy of Wasted Zero. The last thing a cattle rustler sees!

Imagine, it's 1867. Night at a saloon...suddenly, that thing comes bursting through the wall, grabs one of the patrons, a known bounty head, drags him into the street, kicking and screaming, tears off his head, wraps it in newspaper, and stalks of into the night, its back puffing steam that seems to dance and contort with the screaming faces of the damned. What do you do?

Interesting how the noses affect these! Lisa look great. I think it's her nose that gives her a sense of depth. The Shadowrun character also looks good, but seems more flat -- I think because the nose isn't as 3-D as Lisa's somehow...

Of course he looks flat. He's a Shadowrun character.

Lisa has been the bane of my existence to draw.
"Her face and neck were covered in costume plastic, the rest of her covered in a sleeveless black leotard. Her bare arms were adorned in black trim and elbow-length silk gloves. She looked much like a highly mobile mannequin with stiff, short hair."

I want to draw the right arm properly, with floral patterns. But I have only the cloth, and no model, for I am poor.

I'm about to just go to the mall, find someone, and just say, "You! You're gorgeous! I need you to stand in my living room and hold this cloth over your right arm, you know, so I can draw you!"

But I doubt that would work.

Got those floral patterns just right!
