I like the art. I can do without some of the "witty" comments.
To defend: This is the Pact.
But when life loses its value,
and is taken for naught -
then the Pact is to Avenge.

Hmmm. What a great set of modules!

I played through, ran or read every single one of those. Good times.

Did Wizards ever release those as PDFs? It would be fun to take a look at them again.

The absurdity of the balloon animal gag cracked me up. But it wasn't all of the same quality...
